Since I couldn’t trust the charging system to auto renew I left the account empty and had to remember to renew each month which was a pain. So I started inspecting the data use each week and normally found some odd dollar here or there for data which should have already been covered during the plan. Tbh if that accurate that was a bargain but of course it was nonsense. One example was a transaction showing a download of 47,000GB in one day. Customer service was no help, with confusing explanations for the billing errors. Every month there was some spurious charges which debited the account meaning the plan couldn’t renew and casual data rates sucked out the rest of the money. Each month I’d buy a $19 data/call plan and leave $20 on the account to auto renew. I used their prepay service for my kid’s fone. I’ve now left Vodafone because of their terrible customer service but leaving this review in the hope that someone there may see it and use it to improve their service. Despite this poor effort from doing their job properly (simply checking and clicking ‘approval’) in the first place, I was very disappointed with the phone service as it seemed like Vodafone is genuinely more caring for sales department and lacking care for the current customers. Turns out it was the fibre team being slack and forgotten to approve the installation on their webservice. I have given up contacting them via phone, and ended up going into a local store. As I was explaining patiently, she just finished the call and I was able to hear it clearly. And the next thing that happened was she hung up on me. I said this was really furstrating and everything seemed okay but Vodafone was having a technical issue. On the third time, I stopped the person who tried to be irresponsible and tried to put me through to another department. When I explained and asked for help, they immediately referred this to another department, which never ended up pickkng up. So I tried contacting sales person and they answered within 30 seconds. When I tried calling 7-8 times for customer services, it would not answer and I waited 40isg minutes for each one of them. Terrible service!! I switched my internet modem to vodafone and on the day it was installed, the internet wasn’t connecting despite everything seems okay.
